Being able to read is one of the greatest gifts you can give a child.
The SBA has created a number of children’s books with the aim of capturing authentic South African children’s stories in which young readers can see themselves and their own context and which are also a celebration of our own landscapes.
The books have also been adapted to reach learners with learning and reading challenges through, among other things, audio versions and animations that have been created.
